What could be cuter than Simba from Disney’s The Lion King movie as a first friend for your new baby?

My niece is due this July with her first child. We were thrilled with her decision to make The Lion King the theme for the nursery.

She is incredibly talented and has much of the decorating done already. She even did a custom hand painted set of wooden letters that spell out her son’s name.

Unfortunately, I am not quite so talented. I find myself using the store bought decorative items. It is so much easier and trust me – looks 100% better than anything I could come up with.

I happened to be looking for a gift for someone when I stumbled across these awesome clocks with Disney Lion King themes. Tell me these aren’t the coolest?!

I love the vinyl record cutout and even though the face of the clock is just a sticker, I don’t think it takes anything away from the intricate details of the movie scenes. What one is your favorite?

Lion King Wall Decals and Wall Art

Our niece didn’t just stop at hand painting those wooden letters that spell out Luke up there – no. She did an awesome job at painting a couple of small pictures for his wall too. Below is a couple of photos I took of the awesome paintings Haley created – I think she did an amazing job with her freehand depictions from the classic Lion King movie.

It just wouldn’t feel like a nursery fit for a Lion King without some great accents on the walls. If you’re not as talented or inspired to create your own wall art for your Lion King Nursery you could always buy some.
