Graco Baby has Recommended that this crib is safest to use for babies and toddlers that are less than 35 inches or 90 cm in height, once your child grows beyond this size, they suggest that you convert the crib to the toddler/daybed.

A few customers had an issue with the finish ‘chipping’ off. ( If baby is teething, you may want to invest in rail guards )
Some customers found the finish unacceptable, rough or appearing like the coloring was uneven. (There are a few pictures on Amazon.com of what some called ‘chips’ – I personally didn’t see them as a big deal, but you can check them out and judge for yourself on the Amazon Customer Images page.
Many of the reviews are several years old and complain of the drop side being defective. Rest assured since 2010, the fate of the drop side crib was sealed when they were permanently banned by the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

Overall Findings for the Graco Sarah Classic Convertible Crib:

Most of the information we found gave us the impression that this is a great crib for the price range. While there is always the possibility of manufacturing defects with any crib, the positive customer feedback across several sites tells us that the cases where the customer is dissatisfied are few and far between.

At the time of publishing this review, the price range for this crib was between the mid $160’s to $200 depending on the retailer. At publish time, Walmart had the lowest pricing available and offered Free Shipping or Free Site to Store pickup at a local store. How To Care for and Clean Graco Cribs

When the crib gets dusty, the best way to clean is with a duster, or to gently wipe with a soft cloth. If the crib need a more thorough cleaning the manufacturer recommends you choose a non-abrasive cleaner. They recommend a mix of water and some mild dish detergent. Apply to crib surface with a soft cloth and dry completely when finished.

Do Not polish your crib more than 2 to 3 times a year as this can distort the finish over time.
